Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in California
Statistics show that around 900 pedestrians lose their lives in traffic-related incidents throughout the state of California each year. These victims are particularly vulnerable to catastrophic and fatal injuries due to the fact that they do not have steel frames protected them out on the road. After losing a loved one in an accident, families are often overcome with grief. There are far fewer things worse than losing a loved one. Knowing that your loved one lost their life as a result of another person’s negligence just makes the situation even more difficult to accept.
Not only are the mental and emotional consequences of fatal pedestrian accidents devastating, but families are also left to pay thousands of dollars on funeral expenses, inherit stacking medical bills, and deal with an array of financial burdens after experiencing a tragic loss. Although it can seem like no amount of compensation can ever make us feel whole again after enduring an unexpected and tragic loss, having financial resources available to cover the economic and non-economic damages we face moving forward can help to alleviate some of the stress associated families endure. Working with a wrongful death attorney in California will ensure you are able to maximize your recovery and move forward.
