Santa Ana, CA (August 23, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol reports that on Wednesday, August 23, two vehicles crashed on a major thoroughfare in the Westminster area.
An apparent rear-end collision on northbound Interstate 405 prompted the first dispatch of rescue personnel at about 3:40 p.m. local time.
As reported by the CHP, a Toyota Prius, and a Ford pickup truck were involved in a collision on Interstate 405 close to the University Drive exit. Meanwhile, police and emergency medics were sent to the accident scene. According to police, there were injuries as a result of the wreck, but information on the victims and their conditions was not released.
The police are still investigating the crash and have not released any new information. The inquiry is still continuing at this time.
