Westminster, CA (May 24, 2023) – On Wednesday afternoon, May 24, a two-vehicle crash was reported by troopers with the California Highway Patrol in the Westminster region.
At approximately 2:20 p.m., emergency personnel and fire rescue teams were dispatched to eastbound State Route 91 and promptly began clearing the accident scene.
Police, EMTs, and fire personnel were assisting accident victims at the collision site. According to reports, the incident occurred in the left lanes of State Route 91 near the exit to the Imperial Highway.
At the scene of the wreck, one or more individuals were injured and required emergency medical care, and an ambulance was reported en route just before 2:30 p.m. It’s unclear if any of the victims were transferred to a local hospital for additional treatment.
Currently, authorities in Westminster continue to investigate the accident and have not provided further details.
