Lake Forest, CA (July 27, 2022) – A car accident in Lake Forest left one person with injuries on the afternoon of July 12. At approximately 12:34 p.m, responders were sent to the scene of a wreck on I-5.
Reports show that the accident occurred on Interstate 5 near Lake Forest Drive. The California Highway Patrol stated that a minivan was stopped in a carpool lane when it was struck from behind by another vehicle.
The impact of the crash caused at least one person to become injured. Currently, the nature of the victim’s injuries has not been reported.
At least three freeway lanes were closed as a result of the accident. Traffic in the area was backed up for at least six miles.
