Huntington Beach, CA (January 26, 2022) – On Monday, January 24th, a pedestrian was killed after being hit by a pick-up truck in Huntington Beach.
The accident took place at about 6:20 p.m. at the intersection of Yorktown Avenue and Beach Boulevard, near the Chuck Dent Surf Center.
Initial reports show that, for reasons still under investigation, a Chevrolet Silverado struck the pedestrian. Upon their arrival, responders discovered an injured woman in the street.
She sustained major injuries and died at the scene.
The 58-year-old Garden Grove resident who was driving the Silverado remained at the scene and has cooperated with the authorities.
