Corona, CA (January 14, 2022) – A 13-year-old was killed on Thursday, January 13th after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle in Corona.
At about 4:30 p.m., police responded to reports of an accident at the intersection of South Lincoln Avenue and West Citron Street.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered a 13-year-old boy lying in the roadway with critical injuries.
The child was transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital where he passed away due to the severity of his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was unharmed during the crash. They remained at the scene and have cooperated with the investigation. There is no indication that alcohol or drugs are a factor.
