Westminster, CA (April 24, 2023) – On Monday evening, April 24, a significant car accident took place in the Westminster area.
Fire rescue crews and emergency medical services were called to the vicinity of westbound State Route 91 at around 8:30 p.m., and they quickly started clearing the accident site.
Bystanders at the scene of the crash saw police, EMTs, and firefighters tending to the wounded. Reports place the collision on the left side of State Route 91, close to where it merges with the exit for the Imperial Highway.
One or more people needed immediate medical attention at the accident site. One wounded individual was sent to a nearby hospital for further care, but they are expected to make a full recovery. It’s not known whether any further casualties were sent to a hospital.
The Westminster police are still looking into what exactly happened.
