Multi-Vehicle Accidents in California

When it comes to annual vehicle accident reports, California consistently ranks in the top three of all U.S. states. More than 400 thousand auto accidents occur annually in the Golden State. In more than half of these cases, someone is hurt. Over 150,000 persons were wounded in traffic accidents in California in a single year.

Sadly, vehicle accidents are all too prevalent in California, especially in the state’s main urban centers like Los Angeles and Orange County. However, traffic accidents have become a major issue all throughout the nation. The increasing prevalence of smartphone use is the source of this phenomenon. That said, drivers who choose to text while behind the wheel endanger not just themselves, but also others on the road. It’s not worth the danger to yourself or others to send or read a text message or attempt to send one while driving.

Accidents are caused by several factors, not only drivers who are distracted while behind the wheel. Numerous accidents and injuries occur every year as a result of other forms of carelessness or negligence on the part of drivers. People who are hurt in situations like this typically endure terrible pain. Victims of vehicle accidents often suffer catastrophic injuries, including fractured bones, internal bleeding, paralysis, and amputation.
