Santa Ana, CA (March 8, 2023) – A major vehicle crash happened in Santa Ana on Wednesday, March 8, according to officers with the Santa Ana Police Department.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., emergency crews were notified of the accident on Interstate 405. 

Reports indicate the wreck occurred near California Highway 133 from the northbound side of the highway. What ultimately caused the crash is still under review by the police, but authorities tentatively reported that one or more people were hurt in the accident.

All injured parties received medical care at the scene, and those with extensive injuries were taken by ambulance to local hospitals to receive further care. 

The names of the involved parties and the severity of the accident injuries have not been provided at this time. Police officers in Santa Ana are continuing to investigate in the interim.
