Santa Ana, CA (November 6, 2023) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle collision involving two drivers occurred near Santa Ana on Monday evening, November 6.
Two vehicles crashed at about 5:30 p.m. on State Highway 57 northbound near the transition ramp for California State Route 91. CHP troopers added that one of the drivers fled the scene after the wreck occurred.
One victim required immediate medical assistance, though the extent of their injuries is not known.
Traffic on SR 57 was blocked for about an hour as police conducted their on-scene investigation. However, the CHP said the inquiry was still underway and did not provide further details.
