Santa Ana, CA (May 12, 2023) – According to the California Highway Patrol, many persons were hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred in Santa Ana on the evening of May 12.
Around 9:25 p.m., a three-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 55, resulting in injuries. The California Highway Patrol reports that the collision happened on southbound State Route 55, near the Chapman Avenue exit.
At least one individual required immediate medical assistance at the collision site. People with more critical injuries were taken to nearby hospitals by paramedics, police, and others who rushed to the site.
As authorities began their preliminary investigation, they closed SR 55. The road was reopened around 10:00 p.m., but CHP officers indicated they would continue investigating the incident.
