Brea, CA (March 22, 2023) – A fatal head-on collision was reported in Brea on Monday evening, March 20.
At approximately 8:00 p.m., authorities were notified that an automobile accident had occurred on Carbon Canyon Road.
Reports show that two vehicles collided head-on along the roadway just east of Olinda Village. The incident prompted the Brea Police Department to shut down a portion of the road.
One driver suffered fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities later identified the victim as 20-year-old Nguyen Nguyen Khoa Dinh.
Two other victims were transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries.
The circumstances surrounding this accident are being investigated by the Brea Police Department.
