Santa Ana, CA (March 20, 2023) – A car crash happened in Santa Ana on Monday, March 20, and reportedly required an emergency response.
Shortly before 9:30 p.m., first responders were sent to the scene on State Route 22 eastbound.
According to information from local officials, the accident occurred near northbound California State Route 57. Police state that two vehicles collided for unknown reasons, and the accident caused significant damage to both vehicles. Shortly after the incident took place, emergency crews were called to the scene to render aid.
EMS sought to render aid to all injured victims at the scene. At least one person was sent to the hospital to receive medical care for their injuries.
The severity of the resulting injuries has not been reported at this time. Police continue to investigate the details of the accident in the interim.
