Santa Ana, CA (March 14, 2023) – According to troopers with the California Highway Patrol, a car accident happened in Santa Ana during the evening of Tuesday, March 14.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., two to three vehicles collided on State Route 57 and caused injuries.
At least one person was in need of emergency medical attention at the crash scene. The incident occurred on State Route 91 westbound at the Imperial Highway, per troopers from the CHP.
Paramedics, police, and other first responders were dispatched to the scene to render aid and investigate. Those with severe injuries were transported to local hospitals for treatment as necessary.
Emergency responders were on the road for an extended period of time as officers completed the on-scene portion of their investigation. An investigation still remains ongoing at this time.
