Rancho Santa Margarita, CA (January 25, 2023) – On Wednesday evening, January 18, a two-vehicle collision in Rancho Santa Margarita injured two people. One of the drivers included an Orange County sheriff’s deputy.
Emergency responders were instantly dispatched to the scene. In accordance with the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Avenida Empresa and Avenida de las Banderas.
The California Highway Patrol reported that damage was done to the rear end of the pickup truck as well as the front end of the patrol SUV of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. There is no clear explanation provided for the cause of the collision.
