California Car Wrecks
On average, the state of California sees close to 450,000 car wrecks per year. California sees more auto collisions than any other state in the nation. The Golden State is the most populated state in the US, which probably contributes to the high crash rate. California is listed among the top three states with the most fatal traffic accidents per year, along with Texas and Florida. On average, the state sees over 3,200 deaths yearly related to traffic accidents.
Being injured in an auto collision is never, ever easy. Injured victims are usually stuck in a stressful position after their accidents. Not only are they forced to deal with painful, debilitating injuries, but they must also face emotional turmoil and financial stress. Depending on the circumstances of their accidents, victims may suffer from anxiety, depression, and maybe even PTSD. Sometimes, emotional injuries can be just as debilitating as physical ones.
Unfortunately, in order to fully recover, victims usually have to pay outstanding medical bills. On top of that, their vehicle usually needs repaired/replaced after it is involved in a crash. Facing all of this at once can be extremely overwhelming, which is why there are lawyers who solely focus on helping injured victims recover.
The law in California says that anyone who is injured by another person’s negligent actions is eligible to collect financial compensation that can help them recover. Financial compensation can pay for medical bills, mental health care, vehicle repairs, and even non-economic damages like loss of life enjoyment, pain and suffering, and more.
