La Mirada, CA (March 14, 2022) – A two-car accident occurred in La Mirada, Los Angeles County on the evening of March 11. At approximately 8:28 p.m., Los Angeles County Fire Department crews responded to the scene. 

Reports indicate the accident occurred at the intersection of the East Imperial Highway and South La Mirada Boulevard. When crews arrived on-site, they found a white SUV turned on its side with one person trapped inside. 

Authorities worked for roughly 25 minutes to free the victim from the SUV. CARE ambulance transported the injured patient to an area hospital with unknown injuries. The condition of the other vehicle occupants has not been reported. 

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies were observed at the crash scene for some time after the incident occurred. Authorities continue to investigate.
