Saugus, CA (January 22, 2021) – Carlos Salgado-Ruiz, a 35-year-old resident of Santa Clarita, died in a car accident on Wednesday, January 20th.

Reports show that at about 10:05 p.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of a pedestrian-involved vehicle collision at the intersection of Seco Canyon Road and Bouquet Canyon Road. 

Traffic was stopped in either direction on Seco Canyon Road for hours as emergency responders worked to clear the crash site.

The events surrounding the accident were not known as of Thursday morning.
