Anaheim, CA (October 29, 2020) – One woman was killed during a car accident caused by a drunk driver on Saturday, October 24th in the city of Anaheim.
According to police reports, the accident took place at about 9:00 p.m. near the intersection of South Bellhaven Street and East Ball Road, close to Anaheim Fire & Rescue Station 7.
As reported by officers from the California Highway Patrol, a Toyota Tacoma and a black Honda sedan collided with one another in the intersection.
The driver of the Honda, 46-year-old Sandra Lebres, 46, a resident of Anaheim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 35-year-old man from Anaheim driving the Toyota was arrested on suspicion of driving without a license and driving under the influence.
This accident is still under investigation by local law enforcement.
