Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in Orange County

Irvine, CA – Pedestrian Hit & Killed by Car at Silkberry & Hazelnut

In 2014, a total of at least 753 pedestrians were hit and killed by motor vehicles all throughout the state of California. Pedestrian accidents in Orange County are no different than any others that occur around the country in that most are caused by irresponsible and often blatantly reckless actions of slipshod drivers. Far-too-many inattentive motorists display little to no concern for the safety of others on the road.

Actions like distracted driving, DUI, and traveling at a high rate of speed are often accountable for many of the most detrimental collisions. It is absolutely imperative for all victims, as well as bereaved loved ones to fully realize that they may likely have very significant rights during such an overwhelming time, especially in the event that your suffering was triggered by a seriously reckless party or other negligent entity.

Careless actions behind the wheel have led to countless deaths all over California, and as the family member of a victim, it is important to know that you deserve justice. There is certainly no viable excuse for negligent behavior along the road, and in the case of a life-ending pedestrian collision, families are advised to look into holding the liable party accountable for wrongful death.
