Fountain Valley, CA (July 9, 2020) – A man identified as 19-year-old Chandler Pentrack, of VA, was struck and killed by multiple vehicles in Fountain Valley. The fatal incident was reported along Warner Avenue on Tuesday night, July 7th at approximately 11:04 p.m.
According to authorities, Pentrack was hit by both a gray BMW X3 and a blue Acura RDX, a little east of Brookhurst Street. Police said that a third vehicle, believed to be a Nissan or Infinity also struck the victim and then fled the scene.
Paramedics responded to the site of the collision where they found Pentrack unresponsive in the roadway. Crews immediately transported him to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
The first two drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The incident remains under investigation.
