Lakeland Village, CA (July 8, 2020) – A man identified as 52-year-old Timothy Collins, of Lakeland Village was killed in a motorcycle collision with another vehicle on Tuesday afternoon, July 7th. The fatal accident happened on Grand Avenue in Lakeland Village at around 4:13 p.m.

Officials with the California Highway Patrol said that Collins was operating a Suzuki motorcycle north on Grand Avenue when a collision occurred with a Toyota Camry near Ethlene Drive. CHP officers said the Camry was attempting to cross the street when it pulled in front of Collins who had the right of way.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene where they pronounced Collins deceased from his injuries. The driver of the Camry remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The incident remains under investigation.
