Santa Ana, CA (July 7, 2020) – A man was struck by a vehicle that is believed to have been involved in a street race on Sunday night, July 5th. The pedestrian was killed in the accident that took place around 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Bristol and Myrtle Streets in Santa Ana.
Authorities have stated that a man identified as Bryan Lemus was traveling at high speeds in a Chevrolet Camaro when he entered the intersection and struck the victim. Emergency crews arrived at the scene where they pronounced the victim deceased.
At this time, no further details have been released.
The cause of this incident remains under investigation.
