Orange, CA (June 22, 2020) – Early on Saturday morning, June 20th, a bicyclist suffered severe head trauma after being struck by a motor vehicle in Orange. The incident was reported around 12:23 a.m. at the intersection of East Fairhaven Avenue and South Yorba Street.

According to authorities, an unidentified male bicyclist was crossing the intersection, inside the crosswalk, when he was hit by a vehicle. First responders arrived to find the victim down in the roadway suffering from head trauma and road rash.

Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to a local hospital. The current condition of the victim has not been reported.

The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No further details have been released as the incident remains under investigation.
