Santa Ana, CA (June 21, 2020) – According to police, at least one person was hurt in a serious crash involving a small child in Santa Ana. Authorities reported the accident at the intersection of South Village Way and East Wilshire Avenue on Friday night, June 19th.

Authorities responded to the collision in the vicinity of the CA-55 Freeway at approximately 10:42 p.m. According to first responders, crews arrived to find that a black sedan and a red Toyota carrying several passengers, including a young child, were involved in the crash.

Firefighters and paramedics evaluated all parties at the scene where at least one victim was transported to a local hospital. The exact number of injured victims and their current conditions have not been verified.

The events that led to this incident are presently under investigation.
